Re: Uploading an avatar

Oh no! No your post should have gone straight up if you just posted it.

Is it in your 'autosaved drafts' in your profile? You can find this by;

- Clicking on your name, which is in blue towards the top right of the screen

- Find 'Auto Saved Drafts' in a grey box on the right hand side of your profile

If not, can you explain a bit more to me what exactly happened. ie: did you get to click "post" and then it disappeared?

Thanks for your patience with all these 'bugs' They have been appropriately labelled 'bugs', that's for sure!

Nik

Re: Uploading an avatar

Hi Nik,

Thanks, it is there, I forgot about this function, will try to remember for the future. I'll press 'Post' again, it looks like a server error, as I received an error message 'This webpage is not available'.

Regards, Jake

Re: Uploading an avatar

Hi NikNik,

These are the instructions that work, but there is a 'bug' after the 'add images' tab:

1) The cursor does not show an active link (although it is active) as indicated by the 'hand icon'.

2) The new address in the toolbar does not show when over the 'Choose Files' button.

3) The 'no file chosen' is part of the active link.

Another job for the IT team!

Always happy to help debug! I'll keep looking for the little critters!

Regards, Jake

Re: Uploading an avatar

Thanks Jake!!

I'm so glad your message was found. I'm going to copy your post word-for-word to IT - it's so helpful, thanks!

*need some bug spray for these bugs*

Re: Uploading an avatar

Thx NikNik. This worked for me (not quite perfectly, but blundered through. I think Jake has the low-down on what is skewiff. I'm just pleased to have finally got one up and working!

Re: Uploading an avatar

Don't know if this is anyone elses' issue with profile pics too but I went back in and it was sitting there but I had to select and set it as my profile pic.
