Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I think if you had an arm or leg in plaster, things might be different. But you LOOK ok. So??????? Where’s the problem.
Its a generation thing with some too. Older people can find MH .....tricky, shameful. A sad reflection of times when it was under lock and key, hidden, out of sight out of mind. But @CheerBear It’s their problem, hurtful, yes, my word, but it’s their problem. Stand proud and tall that your kids know different and real illnesses, seen or unseen. I hear the deep pain, rejection stuff, and it’s ok to feel that. 💙💙
Magazine craft stuff sounds nice. I get the scissors / sharp items things. Maybe when you go home.
Heading to the shower. I have someone coming to look a a screen door. Still freaking about past neighbours stuff. 😁😁😁
Hope your day goes well. Gently goes it. 💜💜💜☔️

Re: Taking the plunge
I came home to the biggest mess I've seen here, possibly ever. It was so bad it was funny. It looks like a party house 😮😆 Everything inside me was wanting to run around and clean and fix it and make it back to the way it usually is, but I've tried hard to just sit for a bit (apart from some mowing the front yard which was super feral looking!). I guess this is the flip side of letting go of some control. They're all still alive, they look like they've had fun and I'm thinking this is a lesson in the world not ending because of some mess 😉
Today I managed to get some plans in action for a mental health worker finally, through my new NDIS plan. It will hopefully be someone from the break place who works in outreach too which is awesome as they know me (and know me at my almost worst). A mega bonus is that they can refer directly to the break place if/when I need it again instead of needing to go through CATT. They're advocating for the referral to go through quickly which hopefully it will as it's an in-house referral and my case will likely be considered a priority being I was in hospital last week and am where I am now. Fingers crossed it all works out as a new family support worker fell through only yesterday (bad timing there).
I'll see how I go at home over the weekend and decide what day to discharge when I get back there on Sunday. I might leave a bit earlier than Thursday if I cope well over the next couple of nights. I am feeling better. Lots better 🙂
Hope the day is going well enough for everyone. Looking forward to wandering around and catching up properly, hopefully soon ❤

Re: Taking the plunge
I smiled at ‘ party house ‘ @CheerBear . The world will go on, I can vote for it.
Things might be looking up. The mental health worker from where your are is great news. I was hoping something would be put in place to help on a regular basis.
Go gently and slowly. Don’t be in a rush to get home, it’s not long that you’ve been away.
Enjoy you LF. Though I know you will.....you all possibly are right now. 💜💜💙💙👍👍👍

Re: Taking the plunge
I’ve seen Frozen 1 on tv @CheerBear I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to when Frozen 2 arrives there also.
So good to hear your time at home is going well. Silly Santa photos, dress ups, hats, silly glasses, with pulling faces 👍👍👍👍👍 I can only imagine how nice it is for the kids to have you home, you will be as pleased to be with them also.
My RA is having a spike, though that’s not what I’d call it. 😁😁😁 I have another appointment with the specialist on the 23rd of Dec. If he doesn’t give me any pain relief, I’m asking my Dr for a referral to a real Dr. sarcasm intended. I’m over this.
Painted up a storm yesterday. Playing with paint and colour.

Re: Taking the plunge
We liked Frozen 2 more than the first, which says a lot as we (they) were Frozen bonkers when it came out @Maggie. I like that you liked it too. Something about strong women in there I think 😉❄☃️😊 Olaf is extra funny in this one.
I'm sorry your RA is playing up again. It's been pretty :pile_of_poo: weather here, quite cool at times. Wonder if it's been the same for you and whether the weather is having something to do with it. A real Dr doctor sounds needed 😏😐 Hoping you get something helpful on the 23rd.
Yay for painting! Are you doing rocks? I was given Spotlight vouchers for my birthday (very chicken 🐓😉) and am looking forward to working out what to use them on.

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes to strong women and Frozen. @CheerBear The music is lovely too, from memory. ☃️❄️🌈🌈
Cool here also. But warm can be as bad or worse with this :pile_of_poo::pile_of_poo::pile_of_poo: nicely put.
Its a viscous circle....physical/mental health. They feed on/off each other. I’m a nasty pasty atm. Out of fuse.
Big day tomorrow, shussssssssssshhhh. I didn’t say anything. 😁😁😁
Spotlight vouchers 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yes, Painting stones.
