Re: Taking the plunge

Hearts and hugs for your anniversary from me too @CheerBear

and some for you just because @Maggie

take care today both of you.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Owlunar ,

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you.  I've been fairly busy at farm and working.  Thankyou for your kind words about my art.  I've really enjoyed doing it and found a little peace the last few months doing it.

I definitely got a smile reading about your wholesome iced coffee, if your going to do it you might as well enjoy it 🙂

I'm very glad that you find roaming around on the forums uplifting 🙂  That's really positive and hope you can keep that momentum going.  I know a lot of people really value your insights, thoughts and travels through life.  I especially enjoy some of your holiday / plane photographs.

I enjoy the solitude and quiet weekends at my farms.  Sometimes I have quite a bit to get through, but, often I just relax and catch up on sleep.  I never really used to  do that, but, now find it beneficial.  I am making the most out of having a farm as I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to hang  onto it.  Hoping to pay it off over the next few years and see what happens.

Canada is an amazing country, reminded me quite a bit of home.. The people are very nice and the scenery is breathtaking.  I only drove across 1/2 of it, but, it was most memorable.

Tasmania is definitely on the list of places to go, I was scoping out prices on the spirit of Tas just last week to get an idea of expenses and a rough idea of the best way to do it.  It will be some time before I get the opportunity, but, its nice to dream and think about these things.

I hope you can share some of your photos from both your phones.  If you take them into the shop they might be able to help transfer the pictures and definitely sort out your sim card.  I was one of the last holdouts on the last network change, think it was the last week before they turned off the 3g network.  They gave me a new sim and fixed it up for Me.

I will post my latest painting in the craft thread, I hope you like it, its one of my favourites so far.. they look a lot better than the photos.  Hope you are having a nice day and the weather down there is alright.  I just spoke to my manager in Melbourne and she is rugged up like a winters day.

Thanks for taking the time to write to Me 🙂 Heart

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Gazza75

I am certainly taking a plunge right now - I had a lot to do in one small area and it was draining me - sometimes we have to make a change and not just for ourselves but for the rest of the community we are part of - and I am sure I am doing the right thing

Yes - I have been drained lately - changing specialists and all that has been going along with it has been stressful and might be contributing to the extra pain and fatigue I have been experiencing - the kind of medication I take requires a permit from the Health Department - the psychologist took the time to really ask pertinant questions about this - including my quality of life, mobilty etc - without my medication I would certainly not be able to do many of the things I do now and luckily my GP is supportive - I am getting a good team together - the support of the forum is certainly valuable - and it is helpful

I was so tired yesteday - I had cooked my dinner but not clear the kitchen - I went to bed early and woke up early but went back to sleep and was aware of someone banging on my door - bang, bang, bang - it was my cleaning lady - she cleared the kitchen for me which was wonderful as I am a slow-starter on my best days and this is not today

Your support is so encouraging too - and you post to many people - I have noticed that and feel I can do that too. And thanks for your feedback too - it's great

I will get that SIM card asap but I am dragged back by my back pain - I did get to my optometrist yesterday and got my glasses adjusted. At least I did that much - but I hope to transfer my photos from my old phone to my computer - there are little gadgets for this in my box with my new phone. I do enjoy my travels - and yes - Tassie next March sounds pretty good to me

So - there are fires in NSW and even on the Sunshine Coast where my grand-daughter lives - I sent her a text recently but if the emergency services are going strong in that area then it might be hard for her to reply - I have to wait but I will try and ring soon

And Melbourne is back to winter again - we had a lovely day here yesterday. Spring in Melbourne - weather in Melbourne - ho hum

And I love that new picture you posted - I love that

I love all of them

@CheerBear @eth @Owlunar @Gazza75 @Shaz51 @outlander @Former-Member @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope  I have a flat.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍A phone call at 10am, sent my life spinning. Notice here is handed in, lease signed in my new place. A few management hiccups, like 4days out from my lease here being creating unnecessary drama, but, it’s happening. Wow, I’m stunned. Now the move.

Thanks to all of you for support through this time. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie  😀😀😀👍👍👍💕💕💕

Found some wifi at a perfect time, just as your post hit your thread. Thrilled to bits for you. Is it a nice flat?

Back to live ember patrol for me. Amazing how many burnt leaves and bark have blown into our block. Clearly some still live too, coz charred the dead grass around some of them. Must remain vigilant! Southerly buster due to arrive here around midnight. Cool change welcome, but not the strong blustery winds with it. I dont want to still be patrolling the house and yards for live embers and spot fires at midnight and beyond. 😯

Hi @Owlunar @Gazza75 @eth @CheerBear  @Shaz51 @Faith-and-Hope

Sorry everyone for not responding adequately over past few days. So hard logging in without reliable internet. I miss you all and think often of all of you.

@Former-Member @Shaz51  It’s a lovely flat. Mags has a backyard. I’m going to feather this nest, I assure you.

@Former-Member  That sounds scary. I have been thinking of you often, especially when I see pics on tv. It looks awful. Please take care, 💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Big congratulations @Maggie   I'm happy for you.

@Former-Member   hoping you are still safe where you are and that hubby is helping and also keeping alert.  You've been on my mind today.
