Magnesium and vitamins

Has anyone experienced feeling a bit 'strange' after taking magnesium?

I took some magnesium chelate and calcium and Vitamin D tablets in the morning..

I took 2 chewable multi vitamins as well - sugary ones that taste good

Maybe I should take less magnesium

Yes, I had a bad experience with magnesium a few months ago. I had heard that it can be really good for helping with depression so I hunted down the strongest magnesium tablets I could find. After a few days I felt VERY odd. I then googled the effects of too much magnesium and it seemed to fit with what I was experiencing. It spooked me and I stopped taking it altogether. Of course, maybe if I had actually discussed it with a real doctor instead of relying on Dr Google, I might have had a better outcome. Smiley Happy

I am no doctor, but supplements always make me feel unwell, mostly nauseas but I just try to eat foods with those vitamins in it instead of supplements, I am not sure what food has magnesium in it but that could be another option? Or yes maybe cut down how much you are taking and see how that goes.

I take the magnesium chelate at night ...after dinner

I reckon it helps not to take all at the same time...

 

In the morning I take multivitamins and a couple of others

I take Olive Leaf extract 5ml as well
