@outlander  it sounds like the pain specialist didn't offer any hope for you? I'm upset for you about that 😞 What did they say? 

Thanks for your message about my glasses, they are still freaking me out as I can see blurriness around (outside) the glasses and when I put them on or off. The lenses themselves are fine, I can see well through them. People are telling me I'll get used to it...so I guess it'll all be OK.

basically in short they told me i have 2 rare nerves that have been damaged and theres no real treatment for them not even medication wise to manage pain. One of them is know as one of the most painful nerves to damage. They have given me a task to try out to see if it might help however i reacted badly to the numbing cream and then once the cream wore off i was in even more agony. so not sure wher that leave me. i see them again in june but i could see about going there earlier for a review. i did email the clinic who has refferred me onto the rehab team to see if they can maybe alter the task i need to do a little so i can still give it ago.

im glad the lenses are at least ok, i did read that your trying to wear them abit more. hopefully the blurriness goes for you. i never encountered that with mine though so i hope it doesnt last long so you will get the full benefits of the ne glasses

@outlander  I'm so very sorry to hear that. Are the rare nerves in your mouth, from the dental surgery that went wrong? 

And that truly sucks about the numbing cream 😞 I hope the task can be altered.
