Re: My life partner has Bipolar ii
Mr Darcy in many ways doing remarkably well. He is tolerating chemo well with symptoms that are classed as mild. Mentally it is a little more of a struggle, two friends noticed he was hyping up and I suspect pdoc will adjust one med next appt.
The antidote to my stress is humour, Mr Darcy sometimess cannot see how grief and joy can coexist, particularly if I am having a bit of a chuckle, but cackle on I will.

Re: My life partner has Bipolar ii
Mr Darcy does not say to much but I am thinking that he is finding the counseling he has been having to be helpful (which has not been the case previously).

Re: My life partner has Bipolar ii
Yikes @Shaz51 the questions I would ask are does he give a logical reason as to why he thinks this? How much is it affecting his ability to work?
If you are suspecting paranoia, perhaps having a review with GP might be helpful - is he still against seeing pdoc?

Re: My life partner has Bipolar ii
is he still against seeing pdoc?-- yes he is @Former-Member
the questions I would ask are does he give a logical reason as to why he thinks this? --- he was soo sure that he heard his name when we arrived at mum`s and she and my cousin was talking
How much is it affecting his ability to work? -- he works but when we are finished he will say things on what he thinks he has heard of feels through the day
I am trying hard to reassure him that it is not the case
