Thanks @Owlunar Yes that's sad, that you couldn't go to see your granddaughter on the Sunshine Coast (yet).

I am supposedly back at work next Monday - yet I don't think work has ressumed client services.

So maybe few (or no) shifts available - which will be confusing & uncertain.

I think I will be getting the Jobkeeper payment - so there will be some income $ there.

That is paid by my Employer to staff (from Gvnt).

Probably because I Registered (claimed) through Centrelink - they are now insisting on weekly income reporting (to them).

That's not supposed to be required by the Jobkeeper scheme - we filled out form (from employer), then employer sent it in.

Other employees would not be registered with Centrelink - & would definitely not be required to report income $ to Centrelink.

What a mess...

Just want to shut it all out - then go off to Bahamas or somewhere far away...

Maybe you would like that too.

@Ant7  well I guess you would be used to the shift work after 10 years! I would be a wreck trying to adjust all the time.

I would certainly like that @Adge - I think the world needs to get away from itself right now 

I heard on the news last night that the jobseeker or jobkeeper allowance was glitchy - and it seems people are caught up in the confusion that is not helpful at such a time - sometimes I feel like yelling "Enough" and taking off - perhaps a trip to the moon or even Mars has some advantages

I hope it works out for you - people on their own are more vulnerable right now - though I imagine it's harder for people having to share a house with other people

I miss being able to go up to the local shops and chatting to the people having a coffee while they rest with their dogs - they are always happy to share about their pet - it's a small thing but I miss it

But I also like my own company - however - the Bahamas - I could really enjoy an ocean view
