@Patches59 oh that's beautiful. I grew sunflowers a couple of years ago and my Rosella loved eating them when I gave him some 😊

Seeing the opera Tales of Hoffmann when I was 9. My parents were dirt poor. We lived in single room in a boarding house. However despite their diagnoses and us all being wards of the state. I do believe they did their best.it was a student production. We could walk there as we lived inner Sydney. I went to museum , art gallery and state library. @Dreamy @Oaktree @Patches59 @Jynx @Shaz51 @Dimity @Till23

@Appleblossom that's a beautiful memory. I've never seen an opera in real life but i reckon they are amazing from ones I've watched on TV.

@Dreamy I have sung many operas in concert form and been in 2 fully staged ones. I am not a solo singer but can  do well enough in chorus.

@Appleblossom wow that's amazing. I used to sing in the school choir and did solos in front of the whole school. Thinking back now I honestly don't know how i had the courage to do it given what things were like at school.
