Re: Talking about not talking

Hi @TheVorticon, I thought I'd drop by and talk about not talking. Smiley Happy

I was just catching up on this chatter between you and @CheerBear and I had a thought, which may or may not be helpful. I'm wondering if calling lifeline would be good for talking practice. It is anonymous and you can simply hang up at any moment. I am wondering if maybe you could write out an opening sentence, which you could just read, and then see how the conversation goes from there. And if it doesn't go, then all you have to do is hang up. And the cool thing is, you could practice over and over because you'd get a different person each time. Smiley Happy

Re: Talking about not talking

Hey Phoenix_Rising thanks for joining in. 🙂 It seems like we're talking about talking now so its lucky that no one's going to have a problem with being off topic.
Hmmm lifeline seems like a scary option. And I'm not sure about calling them if it isn't a crisis situation, because there'd be nothing to talk about.
Not sure. But thanks for the suggestion.

Edit: Good luck on your mindspot adventure CheerBear.

All the best to anyone reading. There's no need to bump this thread again.

Hi @TheVorticon

Calling past to say hi and see how you're going?

I have done week one of the mindspot adventure, including taking a call from the therapist who facilitates the PTSD course. There were a couple of annoying moments in week one but it was ok.

I hope your week has been ok enough 🙂
