Welcome to the forums. I hope reading chats here and interacting with people with lessen both of your feelings of loneliness. I think quite a few people here can relate to a feeling of loneliness.
I live by myself, and have done so for decades, and I moved towns when I was over 50yo, so I can relate to feeling of loneliness. I also just retired and had poured a lot of my time (like really a lot) into working, so now I no longer have that to distract me.
However as @tyme said, people can sometimes feel lonely when with people.
Tonight I am feeling like I will feel lonely on the weekend. I will be with a sport team in a state level competition, the team is made up of individuals from different clubs around the state. I just found out I have been given a lead role in the team, so I am worrying about that and think I will feel a bit different to rest of team and therefore a bit alone despite being in a team.
So, I think, many people feel lonely in many ways.
I hope being here can help alleviate both of your feelings of loneliness

I like going to coffee shops too @Aa1984 🙂.
I dont tend to have people to go to them with when I want to though, but sometimes I go and read a book, or sit an people-watch. Sometimes I take my dogs so they can also people-watch and get pats from passers by. 😊
Are you an animal person at all? Pets or wild ones.
Well done on making a national team event @Till23 !! And getting a lead role?!?! Wow!!!
As long as you do the best you can at the time, that is all that's required of you. 😊 you are human, believe it or not, which means none of us are perfect and sometimes we have amazing days where we shine, and sometimes we have days where we fumble - but i reckon most days we're somewhere in between. But wherever we are on that spectrum, we're still valuable people.
*end sermon* 😶🌫️

Ps - your TMI content made me smile and laugh 😅, but im sorry also because that's not fun for you and im guessing its a stress reaction? Hope it settles soon, even if its due to not having any food or liquid left in you. Hope you can get a good rest and sleep tonight.

Thanks @AlwaysMyself I've got a few days of "weeing myself" until the comp is over 🤣, but I'm sure I will survive. It's stressful though because I suffer badly from Not Good Enough.
I did Nationals earlier this year, but as an ordinary team member.
New sport season starting with this 1st state comp on the weekend
I hope you have a lovely rest @AlwaysMyself

Yeah I totally get that @Aa1984 I sometimes sit down in a cafe by myself and then as I'm sitting there drinking my coffee I feel a bit weird because I'm there by myself. I'm not as bad if I've got a book, but I still feel weird
