Yes I have my surgery Tuesday, and Mr Emelia has his regular oncology review and snan results at same time. He is very anxious this time. Hopefully unfounded.

How are you and Mr Darcy?

Mr D also gets his progress scan results on Tuesday @Emelia8 .  There is a little bit of scanxiety here too.

Mr D also had a routine ECG for psych meds, it is possible that one of the chemo meds has bumped up one of the parameters over a threshold.

I think we could both do with a bit of this (which is not happening spontaneously at our place ☹️).

We are off to hospital for surveillance endoscopy today. Mr RMG is very quiet 😞

@Former-Member so sorry to hear you received bad news.

Mr RMG was luckier. Endoscopy came up all clear with just a tiny bit of scarring. He still has pain and is going for renal ultrasound tomorrow.

@Former-Member  😔💔  Really sorry to hear that you did not receive any good news from your appointment yesterday for Mr Darcy.  How are you and Mr Darcy dealing with the news? Please enlist the  support of professionals around you if you feel it will help either of you.  One thing I know from both Mr Emelia's and my own cancer diagnosis, is that there is a lot of support out there, if you choose to use it.

Given your bad news, I feel bad saying that Mr Emelia had a 'status quo' result with his oncologist yesterday.  He remains in remission, and will only need his next lot of monitoring scans in 6 months time. 👍
