Re: Good Morning!

My first reaction was that you were being sarky @TAB and then I wasn't sure. I am the same - prefer warmth. Your low 20s sounds OK at least.

Re: Good Morning!

yes, at least suns out here @NatureLover

Re: Good Morning!

Yay @TAB @! Same here and am about to go out for a walk in it! 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

yeah I should go for walk as well @NatureLover  missed a few last few days, had been good, usually done it already an hour ago

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Adge

I'm just sending you a G'day thought and hope you are okay -

I really love the vending maching pic you put up yesterday - I have met a few of those vending machines myself through time - yes - they are eager to take donations but refuse you a snack when you are desperate - get it

Anyway - I hope you are all right - sending my best - and I really love the pictures of your birds - I have had birds in my time - not now

Re: Good Morning!

It's currently 13° here. Had a bit of a shower this morning when I was coming home from the barber. The sun's out now though.

Re: Good Morning!

You got in quickly to the barber @The-red-centaur ! Is your hair all fixed? That's good you've got sun 🙂

Did you get out for a walk @TAB ? I went for my first walk of the day and also to the supermarket.

Re: Good Morning!

been chasing work/job stuff up might go for walk later think coffee and bed now lol @NatureLover  glad you got a walk in

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Owlunar Kind thoughts to you to.

I have met some of those Vending Machines myself too - & a Public Phone (years ago), that swallowed my coins (then wouldn't work).

I'm glad you like the bird pictures.

I'm nearing the end of my forced annual leave - really needed a relaxing break, & trips away.

I did not get or manage that - frequent intruding messages & demands from work (when on leave & not working).

They expected me to come in for an Annual Performance Review, during my leave.

Now intruding messages from Centrelink, as well.

3 year's worth of accrued Annual Leave all gone now - I feel I have nothing to show for it.

Still, maybe I can magically muster something up, in the last few days - unlikely, yet hopeful.

Re: Good Morning!

Hi @Adge

That's a bit rude of the company you are working for - expecting you to use up all your accrued leave then intruding into your space especially wanting you to come in for an Annual Performace Review - and now Centrelink - it's not like you have given up enough not taking some kind of holiday in your holiday time

I understand - all the time you had saved for a trip of and nothing to show for your time off work - I miss my trips too - I would have liked to have gone to see my grand-daughter on the Sunshine Coast - my daughter and son-in-law went up and returned just before the lock-down - I was glad they went - and got back unhindered - but I can't go and we are all hoping the lock-down restrictions will be eased

Maybe you can muster up something in the next few days - and I hope you have income when the time comes - your job seems to demand so much from you -

But you are a sharing person and give all you can - and it costs you - I get this

Thinking of you today and hoping these restrictions ease so you can get back to a more normal life
