Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Hi everyone,

Yesterday (Thursday),I had already arrived 7.45am for the Traffic Prac Assessment - After a 45Km drive, in Peak Traffic (left Home at 7.00am).

Another shock.

The Traffic Control Prac Assessment (for yesterday) had been cancelled by the Training Co.

They did not inform me.

I am now supposedly Re- Booked Re Scheduled for next Wednesday 3rd November.

It took over 1 hour driving home from there - 90Km Round trip, 2 & 1/4 hours - In Peak Traffic.

Yes it's a further blow to my confidence.

As the further between Traffic Controller Theory Assessment & Prac Assessment (now 3 weeks) - The less confident & the less prepared I feel (to Pass).

Plus the DES Job Provider now said they may cancel the Job Process (& prospective Job), after weeks of sustained effort - & more than 45 hours of course time (in person + Online).

- Because the the Prac Assessment has been delayed too long.

- Also because they finally acknowledging the serious limitations of my Physical illnesses (& Surgeries).

- & the fact that I cannot work a 12 hour long Work Shift either at all, or without serious health consequences.

This Job requires 12 hour work shifts - That's the only Job (they said) they have on offer.

Just when I thought I had my emotions under control and was taking a positive approach to managing my mental health and participating in life, the sword has dropped and everything's changed again.

I don't feel that I can deal with it but I must...

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Today is what would have been my 24th wedding anniversary, 7 months after my husband's untimely passing.

My wedding day was a happy occasion, although my marriage was 'difficult'.  But I loved him nonetheless.

He used to tell me on a regular basis that "you were a nobody before you met me" or "you are nothing without me".

I fear that he was right ... I am a nobody, a nothing.
