@metamind sounds like you are achieving/achieved a lot. When down you should read the list of everything you are doing/ done and think "wow I am going well" because you are.

I never thought of it that way before. It's true. I have to keep on achieving. It's so hard to sit still in my energy.

i have to be studying or working. No time for just being.

I am a bipolar and most of my episodes are similar to what you describe. I have been stable for sometime and realised that the main questioning is always pointing toward myself life ancestors past-accidents being bipolar etc. I suggest leaving the reasoning of the psychosis to your shrink. Just speak to him and imagine him dealing with the problems even if he is not. Its like having an assistant so the episode goes irrelevant or shorter. I dont know if i have explained a little. Take care!
