Re: Exo's Exposé

i love hearing of your adventures and seeing your pictures @Exoplanet 🧡

Re: Exo's Exposé

Hi @Exoplanet Heart

Wonderful to see you have been on another trip away! Great to see there was water flowing after all. Lovely shots, beautiful place and you had it to yourself! An oasis spot it seems like, in that area which many of us associated with dry dusty plains.

Hi as well to @eth @Appleblossom @outlander @Zoe7 @Sophia1 @greenpea Heart

My experience with shingles has been rough to say the least. I am now on an anti-epileptic medication for the severe nerve pain that continued on beyond the rashes healing. This med has improved the pain on that shingles side about 80% in less than a week. Unfortunately it's had the side effect of worsening my depression. I need to stay on it for a couple of months so will raise this with my psychiatrist at end November appointment.

Meanwhile I have for now cancelled my two days with support workers on NDIS. Other appointments I am still keeping and still mostly getting around on public transport myself to these. The shingles has been a huge step back in my otherwise excellent forward progress all year before this happened. But I am still better off with things than I was before I started the NDIS earlier in the year, so some consolation there.

Not much other news from my end. Well wishes to all. Heart

Hey @Mazarita

So Lovely to see you.

Heart

Sorry to hear about your shingles, nerve pain and getting more meds.

Heart

There is always something to challenge us, but good to hear that life is still better with NDIS.

My life has been busy and eventful. Some big dramas with son, and some lesser more settled socialising which has been a long time coming and much appreciated. If you want to read over on my "Fragile" thread you can catch up on a bit.

I also love @Exoplanet trips and stories,

Heart

as I have not been able to travel in the last few years.  Gives us all a lift like @outlander says.

Heart

Hey @Zoe7 @Sophia1

Group HUG.

I've been doing heavy gardening today, mostly in my physio gartden and tidying up a bit here.

Re: Exo's Exposé

I'm flooded in at the moment, highway is blocked in all directions. I find it kind of exciting, I like the feeling 🙂 The puppies & I wandered over to the dam on our walk yesterday afternoon & the Staffy genuinely looked surprised when he jumped in & didn't touch the bottom. It looked so good I just had to get in too. I could touch the bottom, but I can't remember the last time it was this high, it's half way from my waist to my armpits!

Re: Exo's Exposé

Had a massive storm here too yesterday @Exoplanet Had some water in my kitchen and the garage floor was quite wet - the water running in under the door and frame - but everything apart from the floor is dry. Our classroom did not fair as well - flooded and needing fans to begin drying it out. The cupboards need to come out too next week as the water ran under them - so lots to do at work.

It must be nice to have your dam so full Hon - I can imagine you jumping in Smiley LOL

Re: Exo's Exposé

a swim in the dam sounds great @Exoplanet sounds like your dogs enjoyed the swim too!
