I have family gatherings every year ....
I have to go to one of my uncle's but it's far so we are going in one car with Mum
We have been there before
I had 'family gathering' recently - had relatives from overseas so we went for dinner
I thought that was it but then a couple of days later I had to go again - the relative wanted
one more dinner so had to go to uncle's place after work ...
Relieved after it was over though,,,one of my cousins from overseas was very annoying..
commenting about my introverted personality
but not entirely his fault as he has his own problems
A bit hard to talk to someone if they keep talking and don't let you talk...
Good communication involves good listening skills and encouraging others to contribute
not carrying on as though everyone else has to listen to what you say
Incredible...he kept going on and on from one thing to another making comments
about other people ....if i recorded it most people would think it was absolutely crazy...
He's not around anymore ..gone back home to overseas....so it should be alright
for the Christmas gathering.....
Gatherings...it's a compulsory thing ...you turn up and see people who have nothing to
do with you except that they are related......
The main thing I get out of it is the food 🙂
I'll probably end up with another Kris Kringle present that I don't want .....:)
Christmas is just another day in my world - although I do eat an aburd amount of food.
